For members: getting started
What is Longevity?
Longevity is a guided strength and health studio for adults over 40 in Milton Keynes. We combine precision health tracking with fully guided strength technology in a welcoming studio community, so you can build strength, improve your metabolic health and stay independent for longer.
Who is Longevity for?
Adults aged 40 to 70+ who are noticing physical changes, such as less energy, stiffness or weight that is harder to shift, and want to do something proactive about it. Many of our members have never felt at home in a traditional gym.
Do I need to be fit to start?
No. You don't need to be fit before you start. Our guided strength technology adapts the resistance to your exact capability, and we build your strength progressively from wherever you are today.
Is Longevity a gym?
Not in the usual sense. There's no heavy iron, no intimidating gym floor and no one-size-fits-all classes. Longevity is a studio where your training is fully guided, your progress is measured, and you train alongside like-minded members over 40, supported by sports science professionals.
What if I'm already a member of a gym?
That's absolutely fine. If you still have more than a month left on your contract, tell us when it ends and we'll send you a reminder a month before, so you can come in for your free Health Check and decide whether to switch to Longevity.
What happens at the free 30-minute Health Check?
We measure your blood pressure, resting heart rate and key metabolic markers in the studio, then talk through your goals and recommend the right level of support. It's a proactive baseline of your vitality, not a medical check-up. No hard sell. No obligation.
Does the Health Check cost anything?
The Health Check is usually £50, but it's currently free for local residents. You can book online in a couple of minutes.
Is the Health Check a medical diagnosis?
No. The Health Check gives you a clear performance and vitality baseline to shape your training. It doesn't replace your GP, and if anything suggests you should speak to a doctor, we'll tell you.
What is guided strength training?
Guided strength training uses smart, motorised equipment that automatically sets and adjusts resistance to suit you. It guides your movement and pace, so you can build lean muscle safely without heavy weights or high-impact strain.
Why does strength training matter after 40?
From around 40, most people lose about 1% of their muscle each year, which affects metabolism, bones, balance and independence. Strength is Treatment™: building muscle is one of the most effective things you can do for long-term health. Across two years of member data, Longevity members have reduced their Biological Age by an average of 4.6 years.
What is the studio like?
Friendly and welcoming. You'll train with a community of peers over 40, with sports science professionals on hand to coach you. Members often tell us the people are what keeps them coming back.
Where are you, and is there parking?
Longevity Studio is at Windmill Hill Golf Centre, Tattenhoe Lane, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, MK3 7RB. Free parking is available on site. Call us on 03333 396979 or WhatsApp us on 07479 832219.
What are your opening hours?
We're open 7am–7pm Monday to Friday, 7am–12pm on Saturday and 8am–12pm on Sunday.
For members: memberships and tests
How much does Longevity cost?
Memberships start at £59.50 a month. There are three levels: Age Well at £59.50 a month, Age Strong at £129 a month and Age Younger at £179 a month. All memberships have a £50 joining fee, and paying annually gives you 12 months for the price of 10. See all memberships.
What's the difference between Age Well, Age Strong and Age Younger?
All three use the same studio and the same guided strength training; the difference is how deeply we measure and coach your health.
- Age Well (£59.50/month): unlimited guided workouts, quarterly BioAge strength reviews and body composition scans, and live studio coaching.
- Age Strong (£129/month): adds PNOĒ metabolic breath analysis, weekly 1:1 coaching and app-based nutrition support, structured around our 20-Week Pathway.
- Age Younger (£179/month): adds three continuous glucose monitors, a dedicated GLP-1 medication protocol, weekly 1:1 personal training and daily touchpoints.
Which membership is right for me?
You don't need to decide straight away. Start with the free Health Check: we'll look at your results and your goals together, then recommend the level of support that suits you.
What is PNOĒ metabolic breath analysis?
PNOĒ is a 10-minute breath test that measures your resting metabolic rate, how efficiently your cells use oxygen, and your biological age. It shows how well your body burns fat and converts fuel into energy, so we can set your nutrition and exercise zones precisely.
What is a continuous glucose monitor (CGM)?
A CGM is a small sensor worn for 14 days that tracks your blood sugar in real time. It shows how specific meals, sleep and workouts affect your energy and metabolic health. Age Younger members receive three CGMs.
Do you support people taking GLP-1 weight-loss medication?
Yes. Age Younger includes a dedicated GLP-1 protocol for members using prescribed GLP-1 medication. We combine guided strength training with metabolic tracking to help protect your lean muscle and resting metabolism, and adapt workouts around your injection schedule.
Can I book a test without becoming a member?
Yes. Standalone assessments, including resting metabolic rate, cardiovascular fitness and VO2 max testing, can be booked online, with most priced between £99 and £179. See the Diagnostics page for the full list.
What results have members seen?
Across two years of active-member data, members have reduced their Biological Age by an average of 4.6 years and their visceral fat by an average of 1.5 litres. Our top-quartile members have seen up to 12.7 years of Biological Age reversal.
For operators: licensing The Longevity Studio
What is The Longevity Studio licence?
The Longevity Studio is a turn-key, tech-enabled preventative health business for golf and country clubs, existing gyms and studios, and PT or owner-operators. Licensees get the brand, studio format, smart strength equipment, diagnostics, membership model, marketing launch and staff training needed to serve the growing 40+ market.
What does a licensee get?
- Brand and positioning
- An ~800 sq ft studio format and floorplan
- Leased EGYM Smart Strength equipment integrated with the Longevity BioAge diagnostic suite
- The membership model, health assessments and coaching journeys
- A pre-configured local marketing launch campaign
- Staff training on protocols, member journeys and retention
- Operating systems and ongoing support
How much space do I need?
Around 800 sq ft. For golf and country clubs, this often turns underused clubhouse space into a new recurring revenue line and a retention amenity that keeps senior members playing for longer.
What does it cost, and what's the return?
In our illustrative golf club example, the upfront licence fee is £30,000, with equipment funded by lease, plus a 7% monthly royalty and a 3% marketing fund contribution on net revenue. The model targets 250 members at around £104 a month, with a modelled payback in month 11 and Year 2 EBITDA of about £140,000. These figures are illustrative and depend on your site, territory and local demand. Book a strategy call with founder Neil King to discuss your unit economics, floorplan and territory availability.
